Today was an incredibly busy day for me, and I was starving. However, I didn't want to eat too much since my fiancee had plans for my birthday-- Nine-course Michelin star meal in San Francisco. That's when I stumbled upon La Pizzeria. I went in just to order a pizza to tide us over for the day. I was blown away by the customer service I received from Salvador. He was absolutely amazing--fabulous, kind, and sweet. When he found out it was my birthday, he made me a complimentary raspberry gin martini. Salvador went above and beyond by putting Italy on the televisions since I had told him I was supposed to be in Italy for my birthday but couldn't make it due to my dog's injury. His kindness and effort made me feel like I was actually in Italy. The Napoleon pizza was incredible, and the complimentary drink was delicious. The hospitality at La Pizzeria is exceptional, and the restaurant itself is lovely with a beautiful bar and plenty of seating, both indoors and outdoors with heater vents. The cozy ambiance and top-notch service make this place stand out. I can't wait to return for dinner. Thank you so much, Salvador--you were the kindest. I almost forgot to mention that he also sang Happy Birthday to me as he brought me out a strawberry gelato. Now that's what I call hospitality! This is definitely the kind of place I would love to make my regular spot. Come check them out; you definitely won't be disappointed. (By the way, they are significantly better than Doppio Zero in terms of service and thus far with the Napoleon Pizza.)

I would rated a 3.5 star, not a 4, but there is no half. Service and ambiance: - Lots of tables and seating. They also have an outdoor covered patio that white large. - Reasonable service, could be better. They brought out the caprese wit a few slices of breads and forgot the tray of olive oil, balsamic, crushed pepper, etc. they brought that tray after I finished 1/2 of the caprese. It would be better to bring out the bread and the olive oil tray first!! Maybe I am a party of one so the attention is not there vs a table next to me with 8ppl and they did not even order any wine... sad! Just water bottle and the staffs paid more attention to that table. Food: caprese is good!! Fresh mozzarella along with fresh crush pepper! The margherita could be better. I was expecting mozzarella in slices like the caprese with fresh basil in whole leaves instead of chopped up. I think they cut corner here!!!' why?!! The pizza was a little salty so I am not sure what type of "mozzarella" they are using . Definitely one star deducted!! I will try the pasta dishes next time with my friend.

The interior of this establishment is very open and inviting. My son and I shared a pizza and pasta dish. Both were great and service was excellent. They also offer a wide selection of spirits, certainly a place worth revisiting.

We started with the fritto misto. The calamari was fresh and plentiful. Really thick rings and tentacles. The shrimp were large. I'm just thankful they serve both fried calamari and shrimp in the same appetizer. Usually, you're given the option of either/or. We shared the pizza alla boscaiola. The crust was perfectly charred and crisp. The mozzarella complimented the gorgonzola, and the wild and porcini mushrooms made it hearty eats despite it being a vegetarian pizza. Also, the truffle oil really did come through nicely. We also shared the ravioli with lobster, which I thought was the most surprising. Again, the shrimp were large and beautifully tender. But when I cut into the ravioli, I was surprised with how meaty each bite was. They didn't skimp on the lobster by compensating with ricotta. I even took a picture of it to show the inside. It was a generously filled with lobster. It was so delicious that of course, we took the complimentary bread and wiped down the plate clean of its tomato sauce. We sat outside, which is so relaxing. And we thought the wait staff were accommodating and attentive. We look forward to coming back. All the dishes looked delicious.

Good vegetarian options. A bit expensive but seems authentic. Service was excellent. The disappointing bit was that they got us something else when we ordered Eggplant Parmesan.

I'm a repeat customer, and La Pizzeria never disappoints, whether for lunch or dinner. The ambiance is relaxed and authentic, effortlessly transporting you to Italy with its charming decor and inviting atmosphere. But the real highlight is the food. From the soups to the lasagna, every dish showcases a remarkable attention to detail and a passion for quality that is evident in every bite. The ingredients are always fresh, the flavors well-balanced, and the presentation is on point. The staff is attentive and super-friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable (and I left a generous tip to show my appreciation for their efforts). Whether you're looking for a casual night out or a special place to celebrate, I highly recommend La Pizzeria. It's a true gem in Cupertino!

We came here during prime dinner hours on a Saturday and got seated without a wait. There are plenty of onsite parking in the back of the restaurant in case you can't tell from the front of the restaurant. I like the medieval style interior design and it has a full bar. I can't comment on how authentic the food is but I enjoyed every dish I ordered. Everything is heavily seasoned so some people may find it a little too salty. I liked it the way it was served. The service was a bit slow but it's probably because they seem to be a little understaffed. It was a little difficult to flag their attention when I needed bigger plates for sharing purposes but other than that, I had a great dining experience.

Friday dinner without reservation, saw on OpenTable app this place had tables available at 7:45p. Arrived and sat at the bar for 2 instead bc it looked like a relaxed bright vibe, and glad we did! Food and service were both excellent! Here's what we had: Antipasti: TAGLIERE MISTO $34 A mix of tagliere di formaggio and tagliere di charcuterie: Selection of imported artisan italian cheeses: aged pecorino, caciotta with chianti wine infusion, burrata, taleggio Selection of cold cuts: duck prosciutto, 'nduia (italian spicy creamy salame), bresaola, wild boar salame, san daniele prosciutto Served w/ honey, spicy jam, pickled onions, cherry tomatoes, olive tapenade and focaccia -- great spread, solid portion for 1-2 ppl so be warned it may fill you up prior to entree's. The 'nduia was the star of the cold cuts! Pizza: LA PIZZERIA SIGNATURE PIZZA (PINO'S FAVORITE) $25 Tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, artichoke, italian ham, mushroom, bell pepper & egg -- my friend really liked this pizza for being so soft w great toppings. Pasta: RAVIOLI WITH SHORT RIBS $36 Creamy porcini mushroom sauce -- this was an excellent dish. Beef inside the ravioli was flavorful, and the sauce had a walnut aroma to it that was so creamy and delicious! The mushrooms were perfectly cooked and a wonderful accompaniment. It was sprinkled w parmesan cheese. ANTONELLA'S FAVORITE GNOCCHI $24 homemade potato gnocchi, creamy bell pepper sauce, goat cheese, cherry tomatoes, and basil Dessert: TIRAMISU $10 layered lady fingers dipped into coffee with mascarpone cheese -- very good; light and fluffy, not soggy. $15 Cocktails: negroni sbagliato hendrix gin, campari, almond, pineapple juice, lime juice -- my favorite Negroni variation I've ever had. tramonto spritz tanqueray gin, aperol, grand marnier, grapefruit juice baci del sole amaro del campo, hennessey vsop, solara orange liqueur, lemon juice -- my friend loved this drink! Our server + bartender Salvatore poured us a complimentary pair of Arancello shots (prolly cuz' we ordered so much food + drink for 2 ppl, hahaha) and took great care of us. Perfect evening sustenance to unwind after a long day + week. Will definitely be back again to try more dishes! * Edit: returned the following week w more friends (party of 5), added pics of more dishes we tried! All really good!
